Amanda Osmera is a Senior Human Resource professional with over 20 years of experience providing quality, common sense HR guidance to leaders and executives. With over 7 years of financial industry experience, Amanda provides strategic oversight and is evolving the people function to ensure Frontier is positioned for even more organizational success. She spends her time partnering with leaders to build progressive tools and inspire process innovations that ensure employees can spend their time doing meaningful work. Amanda, a resident of Bastrop, has a bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Nebraska and attained a master’s degree in Business Management from Bellevue University. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their 22 Nigerian Dwarf Goats and a Great Dane/Lab mix “puppy” named Sven.

What do you find is the most challenging part of banking?
Keeping up with technology, digitization, and digital transformation and ensuring our teams and customers always know what to expect and what is expected.
Why do you love Frontier Bank of Texas?
I love interacting with the customers and team members, I learn something new every day!
What music is playing in your car right now?
I usually listen to podcasts, but I always look for upbeat, classic funk for an energy boost and pick me up. New Orleans swing jazz also does the trick!
What is your dream car?
Hmm…Nothing specific comes to mind but I dream of a car with zero carbon footprint.
What was your favorite toy as a kid?
Don’t recall many special toys but I loved all my books.
Do you have any nicknames?
My family and friends back home often refer to me as “Mandy”.
Do you have pets and if so, what are their names?
- Sven, our Great Dane/Lab
- We also have 22 Nigerian Dwarf goats running around the farm.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Seriously, who would not want to fly?! Sounds fun, looks easy, and good for the environment!
If a genie gave your one wish, what would it be?
All in the world had fresh drinking water available to them.
Who is your favorite superstar?
If I could wear anyone’s jersey, it would be Brene Brown. I just love her humor and humility and messages of how we can bring more kindness and compassion to the world.
